How To Choose The Pressure Of The High Pressure Washer? Is More Stress The Better?

The high-pressure cleaner uses the pressure generated by concentrating a large amount of water at one point and spraying it on the surface of the object to quickly clean, roughen, peel, smash, and cut. The pressure of the high-pressure cleaner is from 50-280MPa, and the flow rate is from 10L-550L per minute, which is the commonly used flow rate of the ultra-high-pressure cleaner. The driving methods include diesel engines and electric driving modes.

The working pressure of the high-pressure cleaner refers to the pressure that the high-pressure cleaner can achieve when it is working normally; the maximum pressure refers to the pressure that the machine can achieve when it is not working, which is the maximum pressure of the high-pressure cleaner. The pressure of the high-pressure washer is determined by the parameters of the pump, the power of the high-pressure washer, and the aperture of the nozzle.

All objects to be cleaned have a threshold pressure. If you want to clean the objects, you only need to break the threshold pressure to complete the cleaning. The use of high-pressure cleaners is closely related to the choice of cleaning pressure. If the cleaning pressure is too small, the cleaning effect will not be achieved, and if the pressure is too large, it will cause damage to the surface of the object. Different objects to be cleaned require different working pressures of the high-pressure washer.

The working pressure of the high-pressure cleaner should be reasonably selected according to the nature of scaling. At present, the cleaning pressure of high-pressure cleaners can be roughly divided into three categories: low pressure, high pressure, and ultra-high pressure:

1. Low pressure (below 100bar)

The pressure of this cleaning machine is usually below 100bar, and most of the water pumps are low-pressure reciprocating pumps or centrifugal pumps. The cleaning objects are generally less polluted dirt, which can be used to strip sludge and loose rock layers.

2. High pressure (100bar-1000bar)

This pressure section belongs to the high-pressure cleaner, the working pressure range is between 100bar-1000bar, and most of the water pumps are high-pressure reciprocating pumps. The cleaning object is usually dirt with more serious pollution.

①The working pressure is 210bar, which can be used to peel off lightship fouling and light fuel oil residue and aluminum radiator and shell.

②320bar working pressure can be used to peel off common derivatives, sand and gravel layers, loose concrete, mildly hot-rolled steel oxide layers, and loose paint and rust layers.

③The working pressure is 400-700bar, which can be used for stripping concrete in pipes, cast iron models, degumming of airport runways, light-based limestone, stone layers, tar deposits, and common petrochemical scale layers.

④700-1050bar working pressure, can be used for concrete cutting and stripping thick paint layer, limestone, a large number of hot-rolled steel ingot oxide scale silica core, burning carbon deposits, and thick cinder.

3. Ultra-high pressure (above 1000bar)

A cleaning machine with working pressure greater than 1000 bar can be called an ultra-high pressure cleaning machine, and the core of the equipment is mostly a supercharger or an ultra-high pressure reciprocating pump. The objects to be cleaned are usually very heavily contaminated dirt. 1000-2100bar working pressure can be used for stripping granite, marble, limestone, epoxy-based paint for ships, and cutting of lead plates, aluminum plates, rubber, frozen food, etc.

The greater the working pressure, the greater the pressure on the unit area during work, and the more powerful it is to clean the dirt. When the working pressure reaches the level that can remove the dirt, the working pressure of the cleaning machine is not increased, but the working flow of the high-pressure cleaner is not increased. Work efficiency has not improved significantly. In the cleaning process, it is necessary to know clearly when to increase the working pressure of the high-pressure washer; when to increase the working flow of the high-pressure washer. This will make you do more with less pressure washer.
